WGS ME completed another project of repair work of the plasma cutting machine FXA 3500 at the Premier Marine factory (Dubai).
Our engineers have completed the list of works:
- Inspection and troubleshooting
During the inspection of the equipment, we found that there was no movement along the Z axis.
The absence of one thrust washer was found, which led to displacement and biting of the damper spring in the helical transmission mechanism. The reason is the absence of one thrust washer. - Repair.
During the repair of equipment the following parts were replaced: the drive nut, the thrust washer, and the damper spring.
Original spare parts from the customer's similar drive system were used to repair the drive.
Оn customer request, the damaged protective fabric shield, providing protection from dust and dirt of the internal drive mechanisms has been replaced. Adjustment has been made of the cam and limit switches of the upper and lower head position No. 1.
